Women’s Pathways: Challenges and Achievements – International Women’s Day

11 March 2026

As part of the celebrations of International Women’s Day, the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança is promoting the initiative “Paths in the Feminine: Challenges and Achievements”, a moment for reflection, sharing and recognition of the role of women in contemporary society.

The event will bring together lecturers, students and members of the academic and local community for a series of talks, testimonies and cultural moments dedicated to promoting gender equality, critically reflecting on persistent challenges and recognising the progress achieved.

The initiative will take place on 11 March, at the Eng. Alcínio Miguel Auditorium (ESTiG-IPB), and will also include moments of networking among participants. A certificate of participation will be issued.

Participation is free, subject to prior registration through the following registration link.

The presence of the entire academic community is essential to strengthen a more inclusive, equitable institutional culture that promotes equality.
