On 1 July, from 09:00 to 17:30, at the Eng. Alcínio Miguel Auditorium, IPB will host a session promoted by the ODSlocal Platform, in collaboration with the “la Caixa” Foundation, aimed at stimulating strategic reflection on the sustainable development of the region.
The Prospective Session of the Terras de Trás-os-Montes Region is part of a series of meetings promoted across Portugal’s border sub-regions within the framework of the PROMOVE Programme. Its objective is to strengthen the territories’ capacity for strategic and prospective thinking by encouraging more sustainable and innovative development models based on the valorisation of local resources and heritage.
Throughout the day, representatives from public institutions, municipalities, regional organisations, the academic community, businesses, and citizens will be invited to participate in a space for analysis, reflection, and debate on the challenges and opportunities facing the Terras de Trás-os-Montes Region.
The programme includes a conference during the morning and a participatory forum in the afternoon, organised into working and discussion groups, which will provide an opportunity to analyse trends, identify priorities, and reflect on development strategies aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The initiative aims to promote an integrated vision for the future of the region by encouraging cooperation among municipalities, institutions, and different territorial stakeholders, fostering the joint development of solutions to social, economic, and environmental challenges.
The Prospective Session of the Terras de Trás-os-Montes Region is organised by ODSlocal – Municipal Platform for the Sustainable Development Goals, in collaboration with IPB, with the support of the Intermunicipal Community of Terras de Trás-os-Montes (CIM-TTM) and the Municipality of Bragança.
Participation is free of charge, subject to prior registration through the form available at this link.
