Admission requirements
The following may apply for the CTeSP: those who hold a secondary education course or legal equivalent; those who have been approved in the exams specifically directed to assessing the ability of applicants over 23 to attend higher education, exams that were taken within the desired degree, in accordance with the Law no. 64/2006, 21st March; those who have a diploma in technological specialisation or of higher professional technician or another higher education degree that seek to achieve their professional requalification.

Qualification requirements and regulations
2 curricular years. 3240 Total hours. 120 ECTS Credits, corresponding to 1 credit for 27 hours. It includes a 30-credit internship and a 6-credit project.
Study program profile
Key learning outcomes
The higher professional technician diploma is granted after a 120-credit cycle of studies, which encompasses 3 training components: general and scientific (24 credits), technical (66 credits) and work context (30 credits). In order to complete the course, students must pass all curricular units in the cycle of studies. The higher professional technician in Sustainable Technologies in Mechanics and Vehicles diploma is awarded to the students who demonstrate that they: a) Plan and implement operations for the analysis and diagnosis of mechanical breakdowns in vehicles b) Define, coordinate and implement mechanical intervention operations in vehicles following the analysis and diagnosis of faults c) Plan and implement structural analysis operations on vehicles in situations resulting from impact or obvious structural deficiency for other reasons d) Define, coordinate and implement metal-mechanical operations to correct structural deficiencies in vehicles e) Manage the implementation of vehicle maintenance plans f) Define and/or adapt maintenance plans for equipment associated with vehicle intervention operations g) Coordinate the treatment and clarification of technical matters in the company's commercial relations h) Collaborate in the development and execution of technical, technological and commercial innovation projects of the company

Access to further study cycles
The holders of a higher professional technician diploma can access to a bachelor's degree and to an integrated master's degree. Access and enrolment is done by means of a special application enshrined in a particular law.
