The Welcome and Induction Guide is a handbook that summarises all the information considered most relevant and useful for students joining IPB. 

This guide covers, among other topics: a brief introduction to IPB; the cities of Bragança, Mirandela and Chaves; enrolment and registration; student card; access to the Internet and email; electronic platforms; Social Support Services (SAS-IPB); Mentoring Academy; volunteering; IPBike (electric bicycles); accommodation; student associations; and the Student Ombudsperson.

The guide is available in Portuguese and English, and is reviewed and updated annually by the Image and Student Support Office.
